I am completely obsessed with history and research, especially anything to do with women's place in religion. I love stories about women who made a mark, ancient history, religious speculation, and anything I can do to empower young people. Feminism to me is being a strong gal who doesn't need to emasculate men to feel equal.  

More than almost anything, I love to discover patterns. Why do adorned bulls show up in the earliest societies, on modern sports paraphernalia, and everything in between? Why do men's clothing fashions become flashy and colorful when revolutionary change is in the air? Why do we imagine that men and women "a long time ago" were terribly different than we are today?

I have a BA in History with minors in Religious and Women's Studies, an MA in Management and am nearly finished with a post-Master's Certificate in Administration and Leadership. I have four kids and have recently moved back to the place where my batteries re-charge the quickest after living in half of the states on the East Coast and both Sweden and Scotland. I just finished a novel set in Bronze Age Thera, and plan to write a long series about the cast of characters reincarnating in many of my favorite periods of history.
